Well..... Im going to buy Halo on my PC, then I dont need to buy Xbox
Im going to buy GC when they are releasing interesting games (Resident Evil, Mario Sunshine etc)
While I wait....... Im going to buy all the excellent PS2 titles that are comming out this year (and that is not few).

I didn\'t say you pissed me off, and speaking of IGN your recent posts would fit in quite nicely over there--speaking of ignorance hell.  You, like all trolls, don\'t bother me a bit, annoy me yes, but it is minor.

Amazing how some threads develop.

I don\'t feel like wading through all the post (especially since it appears to have deterioated into and Xbox vs. PS2 fight), so I\'ll blabber on with my opinion on the original topic.

Now, (some semblance to getting back on topic) the chances of an Atari system are pretty low. First, Atari itself. Hasbro (now Infogrames) own the name I believe, and at the same time Midway owns many Atari franchises themselves. Last I know of, Infogrames has no intention of entering the hardware business. Not to mention, stiff competition from the Xbox/GC/and PS2 will for the most part, prevent an Atari rebirth so to speak, from happening. I don\'t think many people here (other then the hardcore gamers) connect console games to Atari now since they have been gone from the hardware business for a very long time.

actually Ironfist, I meant to say "I don\'t see too many games for PS2 in the next 6 months that look great"

something to that effect, I was tired when I wrote the other one.

I\'m not whining, just pointing out what you are.  I could care less really.  I do believe you are smart enough to know that what you say isn\'t true, but you are still trolling and looking for trouble, and that\'s what trolls do.

You are no better than tshirts or NPYYZ--you are doing the exact same thing (except I don\'t think you really mean it--at least to the extreme extent).

It\'s crap like that this bores me with message boards.  You know, it\'s ironic that it was Jumpman that got me to come here in the first place.  He posted a thread in another board that claimed this was the best forum on the web.  I came here on that recomendation and it does seem accurate.  For the most part people here are level headed and openminded, but when one of the most prominent members starts a flame wars and trolls in every second post it gets tiresome.

Maybe it\'s funny for you.  You probably get a kick out of it.  But I\'d perfer, and I know I\'m not the only one, to actually talk about games intelligently.  You will notice I\'ve never posted a screen shot, specs, started a topic (well except for the one about Next Gen going under).  Because I just like to share ideas and chat.

But it seems like everytime there is a topic posted you post a degrading post about the xbox and it turns into a xbox "suxors" debate.  We\'ve all had these debates and I would expect that we\'d all be tired of them, but I guess that\'s not true of everyone.

People like tshirts and NPYYZ don\'t last long and I can handle their annoyances, but you are a fixure here and dealing with the garbage you post in every other thread really compromises the board.

So no, you can hate your xbox and use it for spare toaster parts for all I care.  Troll in Tshirts\'s and NPYYZ\'s posts all you want--that\'s why they\'re here, but if someone actually has something to say why do you have to rehash an argument from months ago?  

I don\'t know why you\'d bother.  Like NPYYZ, I\'d think you\'d be too old for that stuff and would have grown up somewhere along the way.  Guess I\'m wrong.  Go have your "fun".

I\'m not a tech head so I can\'t give you any thoughts there...


I\'m going to assume your talking about them entering the next generation of consoles...as if they could pull it off now!!

 Would I buy?  To even make a dent in what I think will be a market dominated by the possibilities of PS3 and Xbox2, they would have to have better than what Sony or MS could throw out and still be at a competetive price.  

The hardest part I believe would be getting the developers trust and an AMAZING lineup of games.  Sony will likely have some great in house developers by then as will MS.  It would take some damn good exclusives and all the big companies on board (Capcom, Komani, Namco, Sega) before I would buy one...

They would have to do what MS did, and I don\'t think they have the funds or the support...

This is all IMO...

im too jaded about the gaming world to bite my tongue.  when my xbox finally gets it "promised" A+ titles and it takes time away from my PS2 and my DC, i\'ll shove my foot in my mouth and continue on

but untill then, ill discredit it any chance i get

In topics that ask for that kind of a debate knock yourself out, but to bring it to every thread is unnecessary.

i\'ll grant you, i have been harsh on the xbox, BUT that was only untill i owned one.  i never said a peep about it, untill i  beat halo, and realized there was NOTHING else offered that i couldnt get elsewhere.  im sure this will change months from now.  yer lucky i didnt pay full price for it, or you would REALLY hear me complaining

Yes, I\'m as much an advocate of console debating as anyone, but when all you say is that the controller sucks, and I\'m going to go blind from playing Halo it gets a little tiresome.  This isn\'t the stuff of great debates.  It\'s lowbrow and anyone with a PS2 and a keyboard could write it and have--only they did it 2 months ago.

Take your little pot shots at the xbox, continue to be IGN.PS2\'s champion, but I\'m not going to argue about the controller or about 30 fps or about anything you think is clever lately.  If I wanted those arguments I\'d go to IGN.PS2 and you know what?  They\'d say the same thing you do.  Exactly.  If that\'s your badge of honour and measuring stick for all others here, then I\'m glad to fall well short.  Those kinds of arguments have no factual worth, they are born of fanboys and trolls--people who aren\'t worth my time.

You see I\'ve had my share of 8 page arguments on this board with several members of this forum.  I don\'t back down from a fight--actually I usually pick them, but these little gems of yours are tired and the stuff of children--you need to let it go and try to talk like a big kid.

You say you respect Ginko because he stepped up to you--well good for him--but I\'m not backing down either, I just play by my rules, not yours.
