I\'m with Alteredbeast...once the price will drop, great games will come and the on-line gaming will spread...who knows...what will happen...everyone who thinks MS are doomed is a fool ! My forecast is that Sony won\'t dominate this gen!
XBox:
-BB out of the box
-HDD out of the box.
-Multitap out of the box.
-Plays video games of all sorts.
-BUY DVD playing capability.
-BUY 56k (maybe, one day) capability.
-BUY \'s\' controller unless your one of the freakish 10%
PS2:
-DVD player out of the box.
-Plays video games of all sorts.
-BUY multitap.
-BUY HDD capability.
-BUY Network (56k+BB one card) capability.
So, the ps2 \'major options\' are more expensive than Xbox, but it\'s not like the xbox brings all sorts of crazy options to the table as you imply.
Also, at the same time, at this point, and any forseeable point in the future, the ps2
already dominates this gen. It\'s STILL outselling GC and Xbox, which means the number sold gap is getting bigger every day. There\'s no realistic possibility of them being surpassed this gen. The others will probably start doing better soon... but they aren\'t going to catch the PS2. Maybe next gen.
