don\'t tell me that X-box can out power my system cause it can\'t, period.
Hmm.. there are a few things that you overlook with that statement.
Memory bandwidth, Bus bandwidth... large Windows footprint on the CPU. Besides... no games are specifically made for your system. Developers are interested in selling a lot of games. Sure it will be scalable, but you\'ll never see your systems full potential.
Just look at PSX.. it took a little while for main stream computers to catch up. Not becuase they weren\'t more powerful, but becuase developers could eek every ounce of power out of the little old machine.
I truly think the x-box will run this game, not at HD but I think it\'ll look pretty damned close to the PC.
As far as judging everything on Halo... give it up. That game was a very rushed game on limited dev hardware. It didn\'t use the shaders or many of the GPU tricks that would have made thinks faster. And frankly even at 30fps.. I see little that rivals it to this day. at least stuff thats already out anyway.
