Xbox Live sounds expensive!

regardless, XBox Live will be the best online gaming you can get on a console. You get what you pay for, unlike a Wega, in which a Tau for the same price yields better results.

That was Watchdog\'s point and I have no arguments against that.

actually fastson, it is "no fee on Sony First party, non-online RPG games!!"

Once EA reels some of you gullible bastards in, the fee will kick in. and Xbox only has a start up fee for the first year, just like PS2 and GC have.

PS2 does not have NHL2K2 online, nor PSO, KotOR, Counterstrike, etc.

Counterstrike or Timesplitters 2...hmmmmm.

Sony has said that its up to the devs.. It will work like on PC. Do you know how it works on PC?

And you know this how? Oh right, you dont.
Its not a fee you pay on Ps2. You buy the Broadband Adapter, you dont need to sign up on anything. The BBA costs $39.99.
On Xbox you buy the "start-up package" which costs $50 (or was it 55?) where you get a whole year on Xbox Live. After a year you must pay $10/month.. But Im sure you know this.

fastson - buying the bba is a startup fee, just like the headset is a start up fee. and all the online games must suck since they don\'t come from Square, Sony, or EA, the GODS of online, and games in general. Get a fuckin clue, there is such things as preference. and with things like XBox Live (which has more games) you get more choices.

Better go buy my Wega, I love seeing all those pixels and lines while I am playing through component! hahaha Tau makes Wega it\'s ***** any day.

Games will generally have occasional slowdown no matter what.. I cant wait to see if Xbox Live actually is \'Lag Free\'

Nowhere in my argument did I state Wegas were better, I was simply getting the point across that you and Watchdog are a bunch of hypocrites.

I was talking to mm about the Wegas, billy. but the argument is still valid against you.

Nobody ever said them stopping manufacturing was good, I just said they are probably manufacturing again since sales were very good last month, tripling their previous month\'s sales. We SURELY didn\'t say they stopped production to focus on making better games for us. That is just stupid and you should have never said that in the first place.

mm, I don\'t care that you have a Wega--you didn\'t make a sound purchase, I\'m sorry.  Do some research on the web; they are a good TV, but at the price you aren\'t getting your money\'s worth and with some sets you are getting a inferior TV.  The best of teh best Wegas are awesome, but you pay way more than if you were to buy the best of the best of another brand (Tosh, Hitachi, etc).  If you\'d like I can post some links, but that\'s not really the argument here.

Cut all the crap away with fees etc because the fees will be the same which ever console you have.

The bottom line is that with xbox live you get a less lag (nothing can be lag free) than anything else anywhere (ncluding PCs).  You get secure servers (PCs will not share the same space, they will use the same technology/servers.  There will be sharing of space for MMOGs, but for most games there isn\'t a PC counterpart and MS has stated repeatedly that they do not want mouse using PC players competing against controller console players.

Well, it\'s fun messing w/ Watchdog and Mr. Jacob, they must have some chip that blocks them from understanding the good and the bad.

If this XBox Live isnt the worst idea i have ever heard.  Now games like madden that are free online must be paid for if you have an XBox.  Seriously who thought of this system?
