i tried to plug my cable modem into my ps2 to play tony hawk and i couldn\'t get it working is there only a certain kind of modem that will work or what

yes, get a USB LAN adaptor and yer ready to play TH3

again, i dont know how this will work in the long haul, as the sony adaptor is roughly the same price as a USB LAN adaptor AND it comes with a free copy of TMB online

i plugged it into my cable modem which has either usb ot ethernet cord ot and it didn\'t work with the usb cord

Alright, will someone give me a link for all this online connection business?

Or you can just answer this question in full detain so I don\'t get confused.

I have 56k, if that means anything. So what would I have to buy to get my PS2 online? Then would I just run a cable from the modem to my room where the ps2 is? It\'s all so confusing. Oh yeah, when does all this go on sale?

and how are you connecting this surfboard cable modem into the PS2?

this is what i have

PS2 - USB cable -

- network cable - router - cable modem

this allows me to play TH3 online , *cough* for free

will this setup permit me to not have to buy the sony modem connector, i dunno
