less then I expected from the gamecube, but still much better then the xbox\'s remarkable 2,400 units.. geeze, how low can they go?

Its pretty easy to see why it has no japaneese game support.

Also, the ps2 is probably benfiting from Suikoden 3.. the game that ownz all!

Much less than I expected...Nintendo has definitely lost its\' foothold on the market.  If Zelda turns up with similar results Nintendo could very well be going the Sega route.

Still impressed with Sony\'s stranglehold on Japan, and everywhere else for that matter.

Damn you me. :( Don\'t know what I expected, but this certainly isn\'t a good sign. Hope the sales improve... drastically.

I\'ll wait and see some more results...like how Mario, Metroid, and Zelda do worldwide.

wouldn\'t be suprised if results are less than spectacular

Embarrassing, simply embarrassing.  M$ should be ashamed, PSone is outselling it.

In any case, Nintendo seems to be getting stronger with weeks coming.  There\'s no doubt that August is Sony\'s month.

I think many forget exactly what Sony has in Japan. The PS2 can play around 4000 titles, may they be for PSX/PS2.

The GameCube can only play.. say.. 30-40.. if that!

Hey, at least SMS is far and away the biggest seller of the week..

Sorry, but I\'m getting piss-bored with the PS2 leading the way all the time...I mean, I hope Nintendo don\'t go the Sega route, becuase a future of Sony/Microsoft dominance bothers me badly.

The GC should be on top. After playing SMS myself, I can say it firlmly deserves 9.9/10...and that\'s no exaggeration. It\'s flawless, huge, charming, and challenging. Oh, and it\'s very, very pretty.;)
