why?  it wasnt the lack of violence that made zelda 64 too juvenile for me.  it was the lack of depth.  it was the lack of a compelling reason to play it.

noone can honestly say they enjoyed playing thru mario64 a second time.  it was tedious enough the 1st time to get all the stars

I was just teasin\' ya, MM. ;)

Still, I can\'t say I didn\'t enjoy Zelda 64 or Mario 64 a lot, because I personally, loved \'em. I never did play Majora\'s Mask and I\'m starting to regret missing out on it.

I will have to agree with mm, there. Except I didn\'t even get around to beating Mario 64, it bored me to tears after about 65 stars!

Zelda was a poor man\'s adventure game.  The story and gameplay was dull, much like the first half of Shenmue.

CS2x - what game on N64 is as good as Twisted Metal 2, Medal of Honor (1 player), or Street Fighter Alpha 3? It\'s all relative.

I too am in agreement about Zelda--it is waaaay overrated.

Mario64 is a great game though.

I admit Zelda:OoT didn\'t live up to the previous 2D versions, but I still thought it was a great game in its own right. Each to their own though. ;)

Twised Metal is a fun mulitplayer game, but then, so is Mario Pary or Mario Kart. Medal Of Honor is great, but so is Goldeneye. And you do have a point with Street Fighter.....but the N64 did have a vital absence of fighting/driving games...then again, that\'s what I bought a PSX for...

mm, I know Mario 64 has no replayability, but then, most games don\'t for me...Onece I\'ve done it, I\'ve done it...and that includes shorties like Luigis Mansion or MGS2.;)

To each his own, MM.

As I\'ve said in the past, I played SM64 through several times.. although not directly after completing it the first time. "Hella" replayability? Nah.. not as much as SMW. It is fun to replay if you\'re not burned out on it though.
