Whatever, you win.  Just because...

Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m definitely not trying to compare Toomer to Rice.  I\'m just comparing the situations Owens and Shockey were in during their rookie years.

And yeah Mystiq, you used it right :)

And Cory...pfft...that\'s not your word.  If you have a word, it\'s "cake" :p

And about your "better stats as rookies" argument compared to Shockey and Gonzo, when Gonzo was a rookie, he was dropping balls left and right. Not only that, but the Chiefs were a prodominant running team, and when they DID pass, it was Grbac to Derrick Alexander (who had over 1200 yards recieving in that year). So, when you combine the fact that the Chiefs used Kimble Anders, Tony Richardson, and Donnell Bennett as running backs, already had a passing game, Gonzo was just the man who was used when Alexander was getting double teamed when nobody else was there.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

I\'m not saying anything bad about Shockey.  I think he kicks ass.  I\'ve never said I didn\'t think he kicked ass.  I wish I could have him on my fantasy team.
I wear a necklace now because I like to know when I\'m upside down.

You know how you know you\'ve been screwed?  When the NFL changes its rules based on the officiating in your game. link
