I\'ve edited my post to compensate for the mis-reading.

To carry an Iraqi flag is not disgusting, as I said before it\'s just opinion. Will you still be disgusted by Iraq and its flag when Saddam is dead.

Green Meanie,

No it will not. It is because we are at war now. This is why I find it a foolish thing to do.

Notice I am not saying they do not have the right to do it.

The flag is the peoples identity on an international level, it isn\'t purely a symbol of the countries leader. Was it a humanitarian protest, more about the citizens of Iraq rather than lack of reasons for war?

As for the protests being \'barbaric\', Ha Ha Ha.

whats so funny?  what the protesters are doing is like children crying when thier parents wont do what they want

the US (and other countries) taking out a ruthless dictator (murderer) is far from barbaric.  its civil.  like putting a sick dog to sleep

To be honest, I am not sure. I would bet the money in my wallet that it was about oil and GWB. The protests that I have read about or have seen on TV rarely mention Saddam. It\'s all about the blood-lust of GWB.

You have to admit, he does seem to want to make his mark in history with a record number of wars in one term as President, you never know, it could be third time unlucky with N Korea after this one\'s been forgotten about before it\'s final conclusion.

which makes me wonder....

why do the ignorant CNN worshippers solely blame GWB for this war?  i guess it easier to point thier collective fingers at one person and cry, than at an entire govt collection

First off, you can\'t say that the war in Afghanistan as a war that could have been avoided. We had every right to go into that country and root out the ones responsible for 9/11.

Also, so far this war is going very well. Probably one of the most peaceful wars ever. It could change but it looks like GWB is doing everything he can to keep casualties low on both sides.

Because the phrase that is perfect for the President is

"The buck stops here"

When it boils down to it he\'s the man.

Unfortunately when he was packing to move to Washington he forgot his brain and the new owners of the house threw it away thinking it was junk.

Edit: And I hate CNN, all the Brits on it are tw@s, I tend to watch channel 4 or BBC News 24.

it might stop there, but the buck doesnt begin  there

congress has to approach him with the war bill, and he has the final say with his signature

i bet you loved him when you got that income tax refund check last year, or did u send it back cause that would be hypocritical to take it?

The recent wars I agree with are as follows -

Gulf 1 - A country was invaded, that\'s just not cricket.

Kosovo - Now that was a proper mess

Afghanistan - 9/11 was the most horrendous thing I\'ve ever seen and it was certainly justified, I just wish it had been completed fully.

The current war is going to get bloody as soon as ground forces have to walk into an unfriendly city, that\'s what I\'m worried about. At the moment they\'re just slapping him around a bit.

The world is but a small orb floating in space, in fact it\'s very small recently and this event is big. It affects everyone either directly through terrorist attacks etc or indirectly through price and tax rises. Plus we have troops out there at the moment too, apparently the Royal Marines have taken Umm Qasr in the south.
