Hoo Mjoo The Torrent (Drops Monster Signa 300K+)
(No... Didn\'t get drop...)
Me and Kabalkhan from my BST LS teamed up (Charm Beats Provoke in speed)

Rampaging Ram (Drops a Quest EX/Rare Horn)

The ram was stumbled on while I was escorting Emmasluver (Spelling?) through the Highlands.

I was on my 39Rdm and I couldn\'t believe I saw it. I thought it was a Battering Ram (Checks Too Weak to me) so I checked It.... IMPOSSIBLE TO GUAGE.

I quickly dropped from party with Emma (sorry for being so rash Emma) and attacked it, figuring:
(Emma is a lvl 7 Whm.. didn\'t want to kill him)

1. I am a UBER RDM I pwn the Highlands, nothing can touch me here.
2. No one claimed it yet-- It\'s my DUTY to get it.
3. Drops = $$$$

What I DIDN\'T figure was-- Point ONE was Waaaaay wrong, I nearly got my dead Rdm ass handed to me, and if it weren\'t for some onlookers AND Emmasluver I would have DIED (...and deleveled).

HOLY COW that freaking sheep is on freaking crack!! BAM BAM BAM BAM never ending!!!!

Granted, I went into the fight with NO buffs on, NO protect on, and missing about 100 MP, but that\'s cause I was a smart ass and thought I was UBER-RDM lol lol.

I gave Emmasluver a Lightning Cluster, and some Ram skins for putting up with my ass. He lit a really cool firework, and gave me an apple pie and one of the fireworks (the sled in sky one).

So far my resume of NM\'s is this.

Leaping Lizzy--- Killed 6(or 7?) times, NO BOOTS!!
Stinging Sophie--- Killed Once, GOT KNIFE!
Hoo Mjoo The Torrent--- Killed Once, NO SIGNA
Rampaging Ram--- Killed (barely) Once, Got RAMPAGING HORN (Quest Item)

Ahhhh.. What a crazy sunday!

Oh. Rampaging Ram Is billed as a LVL 27-28, so be sure to add about 10lvl\'s to the NM\'s--- to be safe.

Man, the only NM I\'ve ever seen is Spiny Spipi.  I have never even fought a NM.  They are always being hunted like crazy on my server.

Well, there\'s Mission/rank NM\'s and BCNM\'s also.

I killed the dragon (to get rank 3) three times. Windy, Sandy, and Bastok.

For My rank 3 I got the sandy one, then I helped others in Windy and Bastok. I really hate level cap fights though (too broke to keep all that lower lvl armor) lol

Those are BCNM\'s so, I guess I have fought those, but I mean the NM\'s that are the rare drop types.

yay getting so close to 40 now - hit 37 last nite and should get 2 more today so that will put me at 39

trying to get 40 by friday or saturday and do a bcnm 40 battle - make some gil and be happy

also cant wait till 41 - then i get refresh which shall be most lovely

I could BCNM for loot, but I\'m gonna try the NM hunting one more time.

At 41 ppl will trip over themselves to get you in a pty, if you have all the latest spells (mostly Refresh).

Being as I\'m poor as piss, and am missing several higher level 35+ spells, I really need to get money before I worry about 41.

I will give the NM thing a week, then if I have no luck I will have to do BCNM---
---- or go back to my Bst (27)for a bit

Funny.
I play Bst when my wifes not around, and RDM when she is. She likes when I party, and finds soloing Bst to be boring (I\'m the opposite-- Bst is much funner IMO)

Went To Quafim for the first time last night.

Went from lvl 20 - 23 in one day..... Got into some decent parties and had 200+ exp comming in for awhile.

Talking about money and BCNM - I\'m gonna head back to sandy once I reach lvl24 probably and start trying to rebuild my gil.

We\'ve got NM BCNM and farming to make some good cash..

Any suggestions on what BCNM or NMs to go after to make cash.  I like to keep up with all my armor, all my spells, etc.  So I go back and forth - level for a bit, make some gil, do some quests, level for a bit.  But like anyone else, I need to figure out a good source for income.

I heard, and tend to agree, that BCNM 40\'s (level 40 cap) are the way to go. The lower ones than that don\'t drop the good stuff.

well im 42 now and not too far from 43

but sadly now i gotta go thru pain week - aka unlocking rest of of avatars for my smn sub - got shiva and now im gonna go do garuda and ifrit - mainly i want garuda so when i hit 24 i can cast blinkaga - which will be nice buff when using it as a sub with rdm - and casting it on pt when im 48

also i did two bcnm 40s in giddeus - thats best place from what i hear - we had 1 brd  2 rng  1 drg 1 whm 1 rdm-me - first one we died in like 1 minute because the thing cast flood on brd which killed him - then on the next one we won easy and the one after that too - in all we got 2 erase scrolls - bunch of armor which we lotted on - i won a balance shield mythirl beastcoin and some other deal i cant remember - but yea i will be recieving 100k soon in my mog house for my share of the 2 erases that were sold

Final Fantasy XI is so very much fun. Anyone who thinks they will enjoy it will. And anyone who has the desire to pick it up and play won\'t stop. Its that simple.

Well I got my FULL SET of RSE gear on Saturday!!!!!!

I got up at 7:30am and had all 4 pieces by 11:30, which is sweet becuase I only had till 11:55 to do it.
WHEW!!!!

I had a lvl 50 RDM help, and near the end a lvl 60 THF was helping too.

It was in Gusgen mines, which is WAAAAY better for chest getting than Shakrami.><

With all RSE gear this is what I get:

+48HP
+48MP
+ 2 to all other stats.

yea i hit lvl 47 last nite and i plan on getting garuda tonite when i get on


shame we arent on the same server - would be fun to experience stuff with yall

but yea i got ifrit now along with shiva and i know have all spirits but thunder light and dark

just havent gotten around to getting thunder - but light and dark are rare and about 1 mil each - so ill pass on those and hope for drop one day maybe

also i got all my rse bit by bit the other day - nice for my rdm but im noticing that the body gear and legs were getting old - specially when i bought some leg armor that was lvl 43 and it had same def my rse body armor had lol

so im getting brigadine armor as soon as i finish some stuff and farm - so broke right now heh - been on lvling spritz

I was saving for "Dispel" (63-70K) and had 58k

I went to Korrokola to try for the NM "Morion Worm".
Well... I found the ??? right away and traded an Iron Ore, and fought him.

He dropped the Morion Tanthlum (worth 42-45K on Unicorn)

I put it up at AH for 40k (because there were 21 on sale and they sell about one or two a day..I need money NOW lol)

So I will soon have 98K, minus the 63K (In Rabo I believe) for Dispel.
