Try to get a  laptop with a mobile radeon 9700 if you wanna play doom3 and hl2. That\'s probably your best bet to play these games.

You need 512 ram.  It\'s just that simple.

laptops aren\'t really designed for hardcore gaming. To get one that is, you\'re looking at a lot of cash.

Doom3 is out of the question then.Cant afford an expensive Laptop.I looked for other Laptops that had as much as 512MB RAM but they are too expensive for me.
What about HL2 then?

MM: While I agree that repetitive level design was one of the big things that crippled Halo.. you can\'t say that Doom III is much different in this regard. I\'m just past the Mancubus and it\'s mostly the same everywhere.

Doom3 isnt too varied in its levels but the level of detail etc. really does, make it feel less redundant. I got to play it today and got fairly far for the time i was allowed. Like anybody else, id say that it isnt the most innovative game but i enjoyed the way that you used the little computer pad (forgot the name) and all instead of just walking around and shooting shit (though this aspect surely isnt forgotten).

The atmosphere set up by the game kinda reminds me of deus ex 2 in a way, but w/o its depth. So far im enjoying it. I cant complain at all (considering i didnt buy it anyway).

Why buy the PC version when you get the better experience with Halo on the console?

Save yourself the embarrasment and just back out of the thread quietly.

It\'s actually something my friend and I say to each other when we play Street Fighter III: 3S and it\'s just something we annoy eachother with.  At this point, we just call each other apple sauce just because it\'s different, but people would not understand what the hell that meant here.  :)
