Wow, Bush really makes his case with this statement...

This is from some interview, the guy can\'t even freaking talk correctly.

......ummm, what is soverant? Because since i dont know what that means, and he used it in every sentance or sometimes a little different variation of the word, I had no idea what he was talking about.

It sounded like an obvious question.. possibly so obvious that it was hard for Bush to explain thus making him trip all over his words. It doesn\'t sound like this makes sense, but that\'s what it looked like.

This isn\'t a matter of Bush\'s speech impediment.  It\'s true the interviewer didn\'t phrase the question very well, but it wouldn\'t have been especially difficult if Bush had paused a moment to reflect on it.  Instead he decided to try and sound smart by answering quickly and talking out of his ass.  In the middle of his second sentence, he realized he was up the creek.  He does this all the time.

I don\'t understand why so many people forgive him for stuff like this when it\'s obvious that he\'s an idiot.  I mean, I can understand an average bonehead liking Bush because he appears to be an ordinary guy, but shouldn\'t the president of the most powerful nation on earth be smarter than an ordinary guy?  To me, the president I vote for need to be at least as smart as I am.  That is the minimum qualification.  Bush does not meet the minimum qualification.
