Hasn\'t Lowe been thrown to the wolves enough yet?

Last I heard, he was so scared of getting shelled that he\'s been using th\' Quantum Sleeper!

I might need one of those by the time this series is done.

Pedro was packing heat tonight. He kept fastball velocity up (season-high 97MPH in the first inning) but in general couldn\'t control it quite as well as he\'d like. 4 walks, two of them really hurt. (scored)

3ER, 4H, 7K.. that 2R-HR in the 6th by Olerud did his numbers in.. but a quality start. Hopefully the Sox can score 4 runs now..

St Louis vs NY
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

After 3 games amongst 2 series, and your calling it already?

Red Sox are in big trouble. Their two top starters don\'t get a win and one of them might be done for the rest of the post season. Not looking good.

We\'ve had our  guys come up and pitch BIG games, Pedro pitched well, but it seems like our guys are just doing it better.

I am worried Brown won\'t be able to get a good game as the Sox are a great fast ball team and Brown is a power pitcher, the Sox have trouble hitting Junk Ball pitchers.

It\'s official, no more Schilling.  That\'s what happened, if Schill hadn\'t gotten injured, this series is tied 1-1.  Now we face an 0-2 hole with Schilling out, it was a good season, but something goes wrong EVERY year.

Yeah, were cursed alright.  It wouldn\'t be so bad if the Yankee fans didn\'t flaunt the 26 world series as if it were their own.  I mean your not actually in the game... oh wait there was Jeffrey Maier, bastard.

I take back my original comment...

I\'m not sure who the Yankees are gonna face now...
