Just when I think you can\'t possibly get anymore thickheaded.  What makes you any better than that white square you\'ve been posting?  You usually fail to make a valid point and the bulk of your posts lack sound reason.  Everything you\'ve posted in this thread is an example of that.

I kept hearing the hype about Farcry, which put me off. Once I get bored of CoH, I will have to check out Farcry. I have been in the Mac world for so long that I am now trying to catch up on PC games that I may of missed out on. Another one I need to track down is Gothic 2 .

I like DOOM 3, but I can\'t help but feel ID let us down in the gameplay . It is nothing but the same "monster jumps out" formula and the storyline via PDA\'s brings the game to a screeching halt at times.  Still, it is an extremely impressive engine.

As for Halo, I felt the whole game was simply unimpressive. The single player was repetive, it offered nothing new to the player. The graphics was really not all that impressive, in my opinion. I remember walking to the ocean in one of the levels and the fact that nothing happened when I walked in it, brought my opinion down on the game in a massive way. As for CO-OP mode being the greatest thing, well, I don\'t think you can rate a game off of one single mode. Take the game as a package and that is where Halo falls short.

That\'s something I agree with. Red Faction 2 was balls, though.

Oh and do you know whats the irony in that....BOB?

Oh don\'t you worry Uni, I.. got the point. And I\'m not defending mm, nor am I trying to attack you. I just think the blank white space bit mm does is funny. :) Oh, and no offense, but it wasn\'t as funny when you did it. :D ;)

Well I\'m sorry if it\'s pretentious to like games with well designed levels. For the moist part, it feels like every level is about twice as long as it should be, and almost the entire second half was just added purely so they could say they had a 12 hour game. Now, I\'ll admit that these complaints can (mostly) be overlooked in a two player co-operative game. But in single player it just started to become boring and monotonous.

Halo 2, however has me very excited at the prospect of the game NOT being completely rushed. Interesting level design, and better indoor fighting and it\'ll be an absolute winner.

Sorry for being so pretentious that I don\'t like to be bored. :(

And yes, I\'m well aware that I mis-spelled the word most.. but.. I think it\'s funny in a childish way. :D

To be honest I never preorder games anymore.

As i don\'t see the point when i can just walk in and get the game come launch day like everyone else.

Out of all this time i have to say that there was ONLY one game, where pre-ordering it wouldn\'t of meant me having to go round every shop looking for it.

And that was Mertriod Prime...

When i went to get it (a week after launch)

None of the Games stores or general stores had it..... i Had to go to a Up markert Department store to get it.
