Playing as a combine soldier would be sweet. They would need some time to develop a story behind it though.

some of the small tower blocks in city 17 (the white ones with red roofs) almost match ones found in Poland.

ok, newegg has the import version *brand new* for 39 bucks.  Will I run into any issues with it?  I assume that it is the English european version.  

Steam won\'t give me any fits with me being in the US and all?

I finally took my computer in to a store and had it services, but upon trying to use steam my internet connection kept dropping out! So I don\'t know how long it\'ll be before I can play the game!

Just wanted to say that I\'ve got the game working and so far I\'m quite enjoying it.  It\'s actually difficult to play because it can be so suspensful at times! Reminds me a little of Alien Trilogy in that regards (just not to the same level).

Anyhoo.. continue on.

replace a lil with very and I\'ll agree.  People say it leaves room for an expansion.  Meh I don\'t care, that\'s no excuse for a 45-sec ending to a bazillion hour game.

I, uhh.. got out of the little buggy at the point where you\'re supposed to avoid being hit by the train (after the escapades on the bridge) and walked the rest of the way..... was a pain in the ass.

I just got part Sandtraps, which was exciting, but eventually became tedius so I just sprinted across the sand. :D

Biggest complaint, the best part of the game is fighting against the combine soldiers (much like the marines were the best part of the original game) yet the skirmishes are far too short! I want a full on battle! I\'m sure it\'ll come..
