Get some real logic, by all means.

(1) Just because something sells a lot does not mean it is a quality game. We was not arguing this point. What the point was, if the game sells a lot, it helps the industry you so much love. It keeps this industry alive.

(2) The DC and Shenmue have nothing to do with this. Sega had quality games and great sells to begin with. The PS2 hype killed them - what does that have to do with this? Nothing.

Congrat\'s, you just described almost all of the sequels in the gaming industry. Guess what? Gran Turismo 4 is the same thing. A few tweaks here and there and new maps. That is the point of a sequel. And if these games like DW are selling so well to have this many sequels , they must be doing something right. It isn\'t like a game where the sells are dropping off with each sequel.

We need a forum just for you, Uni. One where no one has to read such ignorant crap .

Some poor business decisions and lack of finances contributed to the Dreamcast\'s demise as well.

Uni, it is hard to debate with someone who has the IQ of a retarded baby. Sorry, bud, it\'s true.

Not sure how this contradicts itself..Let me break it down for you one last time.

A best selling franchise = Money for gaming industry.

Gaming industry = something you like.

If gaming industry is making money + series continues = more profit for gaming industry.

What does that mean? Oh God! More games! Bigger budget for games.

No one debated the quality of the games. No one. You said no more Dynstay Warriors and Gman asked why. You went on a rant and he pointed out that despite the fact it is on it\'s fifth (?) sequel, it still sells a shitload. No one brought up the quality of the game (as that would be objective, relative to someone\'s perspective and preference of the genre). The whole point was, if the series continues to sell then.....

1: It must be doing something right, to sell so many units each sequel. Meaning, it has it\'s fans. Which means, if there is another sequel for the PS3, those fans will most likely buy the PS3, which means......MORE PROFIT FOR SONY, your beloved company.

For example, you may say "no more Castlavania\'s!". I would disagree, I want more 2D Castlevania\'s and any system with a 2D Castlevania is going to be purchased by me. I have held off on the DS, but when Castlevania:DS comes out, I\'ll buy one. The same would apply if Sony would talk to Konami about developing a 2D CastleVania for it\'s PSP.

2: More profit means the industry is doing good.

3: If the game continues to sell great, then other companies take notice and try to do the same. Of course that means a lot of crappy imitation games, but it also means some great inspired games. Thus....HELPING THE INDUSTRY.

I can\'t make it any easier for someone to understand.
