Lots of 8.5 to 9.5 reviews on this ICO-esque game. Short game like ICO. Who cares? 10 hours of gameplay is perfect for busy people!

Looks like Abe\'s adventures will be put on hold.

Sounds kind of like the ol\' New Game+ they used to have.  I must say though, I get tired of companies throwing in 20 hours of misc time filling quests to make their games \'longer\'.  There\'s nothing wrong with a 10-15 hour game, that\'s a good 2 weeks for a normal busy gamer, and if they have re-play-through options, well....

I find with a lot of games that they \'make\' longer, I end up getting 3/4ths of the way through and then give up cause I\'m getting bored with the same ol\' same ol.

They have weird message boards at GameFaqs, eh?

That sounds like an interesting gimmick to keep you playing through. I\'d probably fall for it for a little while at least.

I agree with you Fatal. ICO was about 4 hours long if you KNOW what to do. It took me about 9 hours the first time through and that took me about a week\'s time since I work.

10 hours of ACTUAL game play is gonna take me about 2 weeks to finish. That\'s long enough for me.

From the looks(and sounds) of it the music is gonna be nice and mellow just like Ico.I\'ve read somewhere that when you are just searching for a colossus there is hardly any music,just nature sounds.

When you engage in a fight with one the music gets bombastic and very orchestra-like.

It\'s clear from the opening movie that this is from the same team as Ico.

9.7 from IGN, it is indeed the game of the year.

The recent demo didn\'t lend itself to this kind of acclaim with the awkward controls and difficult camera, though some may argue those things add to the overwhelming scope of the game.

I\'ve been looking forward to this one, but am surprised at all the high praise. Wonder if the controls were tightened up since I played it...

So wait, it\'s okay to have a 10 hour game now?  Now it\'s "we\'re busy people so it\'s okay" or "that\'s the perfect amount of time."  Bullshit.  I thought all the cries about Fable made it pretty clear that 10 hours was just unacceptable?  Never mind that the game clocked in double that amount if you took part in the side quests.  Don\'t even start me on how much you guys bitched about the 10-15 hour campaign of Halo 2.

Come on, tell me how it\'s okay for ICO.
