No one has an idea of the launch games, I don\'t think..

Kind of like price tag and launch date for the Wii. No one really knows for sure.

Some of those games are unknown to me, but PS3\'s lineup is making the PS2\'s launch look like a million bucks, no?

If I were going shopping for a PS3, I wonder what I\'d buy. Perhaps Need for Speed... Then I\'d find out about the interesting sounding titles - Resistance, Genji 2, Stranglehold and Fatal Inertia - and buy whichever one looked promising but wasn\'t a first person shooter. ... And if Tiger Woods games have been good before, I bet a PS3 version would be pretty to look at?

Any early PS3 adopters here? What will you buy?

only rentable games on the list..except madden which id buy. nhl 07 looks awesome, not sure about 2k7 (2k6 was as generic as it gets).

Have they announced any games for the ps3 launch? I am starting to get back into gaming. I want the ps3 but the 360 is looking real nice at a much cheaper price.

Im really debating it actually..the price basically for MGS, a series i never got into, but i doubt the controls will be anything like the ps2 versions. Sports games are the main thing for me and consoles, and theyre all on both consoles (360 of course..not the wii :D). God of War 3 would be awesome on ps3, but that probably wont be out for a long time, so even if i get a 360, by the time god of war 3 is a collectable and is like 20 bucks, the ps3 will be cheaper. still, no true incentive to fork out the extra money for me.

Definitly not doing anything hastly. If i get a 360 it will be after the ps3 is released.

except for the rockin\' PS2 launch, there were so many great titles to play.

and the xbox launch wasn\'t so bad once you got over the "holy fuck, this thing is huge" phase.

and when hasn\'t nintendo launched a console with only 2-3 titles (one of them being a ***** mario game?)

Try MGS3 Subsistence ; it\'s the first MGS game with a camera system alike Splinter Cell ; MGS4 is pretty much confirmed to continue that control scheme as well. :thumb:

About that list ; looks pretty decent.  Resistance, Stranglehold (the John Woo action game), Fatal Inertia and add MotorStorm ; all new IP games (heyhey, non-sequels)

Personally i would hold out buying PS3 a little longer.
