The problem with Europe isnt necessarily racism. It is different ways of living and culture which makes understanding, acceptance and communication a bit more complicated. I would never sacrifice culture for globalization though.

Eh, guess that\'s true. Probably should have researched modern racism in Europe than taking a professor\'s word that should have been questioned first of all (since she was an idiot). But I did see videos on You Tube from the World Cup where Italy (I think) threw bananas and booed a member of their own team who was black. I saw other videos with similar incidents in sports where spectators had racist signs particularly to black people on their OWN team. Makes you think of the racism when they say its not as big and you see them booing their own team and they interview these players and they say how bad racism is.

Hahahaa The field brings all kinds of assholes. Football in Europe captures more than just simple lovers of the sport unfortunately.
 Some teams are the bastard children of political parties too and for fanatics the field is the perfect place to start trouble and provoke.
 Sometimes they get so passionate with their teams that they will go as far as to attack the other team or the referee. They provoke each other with signs and messages they shouldnt even exist. There was an extremely rare occasion once that a football player was assassinated by fanatics (cant remember teh country or team) because in an extremely important match he accidentally put a goal on his side.
 These assholes are few but in the field they look many. Lets just say that Football matches in some European countries are a good meeting place for scum (including nationalists and racists) or people that like doing trouble
 That said it is not as bad as I made it sound

Interesting link. But I feel that it is kind of irrelevant to what has been discussed here though since it wasnt the genocide that was questioned, but the completeness of historical information as well as the way it was used.

For example although the Germans are accused for hating the Jews in reality no one wanted the Jews including the EU allies, such as the French and the British. The same countries that fought the Nazi\'s, originally saw the Nazi anti-semitism as a welcome thing. They did not stop him from becoming powerful despite his ideologies for this reason. But once he became a thread to them they wanted to stop him. We arent being taught about that. Then when the war ended they used propaganda and formed history as they saw fit
