All a President can do is regulate trade, effect enterprises, raise/lower taxes, regulations...tariffs...all of which have been nearly identical for the past 20 years.

The war is not a huge part of it. We were going to get to oil with China and India anyway.

clips, are you sure the budget is 12 million? I\'m no expert but it seems a bit small to fund a war every month. You have salaries to the soldiers to pay, bullets to pay for, gas to pay for, bombs to buy, body armor to issue. I expected it to be atleast 200+ million. But hey, what do I know.

I thought it was a typo the first time he said it.

But he seems to really think that 12 mil a month is ruining the economy.

And I don\'t know the exact number but I\'m sure it has to be close to 10 billion a month.

That\'s what I was thinking. I saw he wrote 12 million in the original post but when he kept saying it in subsequent posts, I started to get confused.

On the other hand citizens demand more to be spend on the educational system and health care. I ve read that many schools are funded by private corporations and these may prohibit any kind of information that may harm their product. Not the best thing to do if you want quality education.

Considering the crazy amounts spend on Iraq at the cost of US citizens it shows how much some individuals may be gaining from this war.

Government spending is related to taxation, income allocation, expansionary or contractionary fiscal policies and government debt

It is also related to inflation and GDP.

Do not judge if you do not know about specific matters

The cost of war subject did not start by me
