McCain has Palin speading lies again....i guess when you have nothing left to stand on, you have to try to connect Obama with terrorists....they are looking incredibly desperate......

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/05/palin.obama.terrorist.claim/index.html

"Palin attacked Sen. Obama on Saturday for his brief political relationship with Bill Ayers, a founding member of the radical Weather Underground, which was involved in several bombings in the early 1970s, including attacks on the Pentagon and the Capitol. Obama was a child at the time of the bombings"

^^^Obama was 8 years old when this nut was causing chaos, and they want to connect him with that?...pathetic...i thought there was more important matters we should be discussing....I guess the "mavericks" have other things on their agenda.

mccain\'s camp is just sounding way too much like the current administration. Between using words like "terrorist" to scare people into thinking a certain way, and having the only "strategy" for iraq being a surge..

Obama and Bill Ayers... uh are you so blind you don\'t see it?  Ayers is not sorry for what he did and stated he didn\'t do enough.  He said that what?  2 years ago?  Ayers is a terrorist.  Planting bombs in federal buildings doesn\'t qualify you as a terrorist?  Obama is a joke.

Oh and Obama has more problems than just that.  The FEC is going to look into him accepting foreign donations, which is illegal.

You are really starting to scare me....you believe anything that comes from the McCain camp...you honestly believe he condones what this guy did? It happened decades ago when Obama was 8 years old...since then they have worked on charity projects for school improvements, and i\'m not sure if Obama was aware of what this guy did at the time of the charity event, but i guess something good and benefitial for the school system like that flies over your head and that "Obama hangs out with terrorists?"....is something you\'d rather focus on.....I cannot believe you actually believe this.

One thing that is clear, and that is the McCain camp is using tactics such as these to distract the american public, and you\'re obviously a sucker for it. As far as accepting those donations? innocent until proven guilty, and even then it\'s not a big deal....do you actually think the average joe is going to be caring about whether Obama accepted these donations or not?...nope...the average joe is worrying about the economy and wondering if he\'ll be able to pay his mortgage or have a job tomorrow,....something that McCain & co are desperatly trying throw a curveball at.....they are becoming the joke of the campaign and have reduced themselves to having the credibility of the national enquirer...absolutely shameful..

I have know about Ayers and Obama long before McCain brought it up.  He is friends with the guy and Ayers launched Obama\'s political career.

Obama also hangs around racist blacks.  Wright needs to be brought into the spotlight too.

As for the donations.  Yes it is a big deal.  Obama got 34 million from foreign sources.

RNC to File FEC Complaint on Obama Fundraising Practices

By Matthew Mosk
A lawyer for the Republican National Committee today said the party will ask the Federal Election Commission to look into the source of thousands of small-dollar contributions to the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama.

The RNC is alleging that the Obama campaign was so hungry for donations it "looked the other way" as contributions piled up from suspicious, and possibly even illegal foreign donors.

"We believe that the American people should know first and foremost if foreign money is pouring into a presidential election," said RNC Chief Counsel Sean Cairncross.

Cairncross alleged there was mounting evidence of this, and cited a report in the current issue of Newsweek magazine that documents a handful of instances where donors made repeated small donations using fake names, such as "Good Will" and "Doodad Pro."

The Newsweek report says that earlier this year the Obama campaign returned $33,000 to two Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip who had bought T-shirts in bulk from the campaign\'s online store -- purchases that count as campaign contributions. The brothers had listed their address as "Ga.," which the campaign took to mean Georgia rather than Gaza.

"While no organization is completely protected from Internet fraud, we will continue to review our fundraising procedures," Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt told the magazine.

At the heart of the RNC complaint is a federal fundraising rule that lets campaigns accept donations under $200 without itemizing the names and addresses of the donors on its campaign finance reports. The rule was intended as a matter of practicality -- it did not seem reasonable to ask a campaign to gather that information from every five-dollar donor.

But the Obama campaign has raised more than $200 million this way, a staggering sum for donations that will not be subjected to outside scrutiny.

Obama campaign aides said today that a number of steps have been taken to safeguard against foreign or illegal contributions coming in in smaller increments. The measures include: requiring donors to present a passport at fundraising events held for Americans overseas, ending contributions to the Obama Store from contributors with addresses outside the U.S. or its territories, and requiring donors to enter a U.S. passport number when contributing via the Americans Abroad page.

"When we were made aware of an ad for a Nigerians for Obama fundraiser in a Nigerian paper, our attorneys sent a letter to the paper making it clear the event had nothing to do with our campaign, and that we would not accept contributions from the event," one Obama aide said.

And aides note that Sen. John McCain had his own foreign fundraising issues, having been forced to refund about $50,000 in donations solicited by Jordanian Mustafa Abu Naba\'a, who was raising money on behalf of one of McCain\'s top Florida bundlers.

WoW....now you\'re bringing up reverend wright?......that issue was squashed months ago and Obama gave a good speech on race relations about it and closed that chapter, and for the most part people have accepted it. Now you think it needs to be raised again? Let me ask you,..do you honestly feel that is important? You sound just as desperate as both McCain & Palin....and what you posted up above is showing that both McCain and Obama have some fundraising issues....i can see how hard it can be to tract where some of the money is coming from,..and it seems that when either side finds out the money source comes from a shady organization, the money is swiftly sent back....

And it\'s no wonder that the RNC is leading the investigation on this one...:p

Yes I do think it is important and no it was not "squashed" months ago.  That speech he gave was yawn inducing.  I am not desperate.  The only one who sounds like they are in a panic is you.  If it was nothing - why are you even bringing it up?  Sounds to me you want to censor the truth and freedom of speech.  Something Obama and his campaign are notorious for.

These are legitimate issues that show the kind of character Obama has.  He is part of the same old corrupt Chicago political machine that has been around for decades.  It also shows that Obama is a borderline marxist and a closet racist.  He is not fit for the office of President.

I was the one that brought up reverend wright?.......Obama\'s a closet racist?....i\'m not even going to entertain that...the fact is that McCain has pulled a stunt saying that he will stop campaigning to try to save the economy which was bulls**t, he even went on to say that the debates should be post-poned until we find a solution,(obviously trying to give Palin more practice time for her debate) he went back to washington where both he and Obama sat down to give their thoughts on the issue....those that attended that meeting stated McCain did not add anything to the meeting (they even asked him "what do you have add senator? and he replied that he wanted to wait and talk to his fellow republicans...pathetic)...while these same individuals stated Obama gave clear statements on where he stands, and what needs to be done.

McCain went back to washington and accomplished nothing, he was trying to act like that he was responsible for getting the bill passed when in fact when at the time when he saying this on the campaign trail, the bill did not pass....then he turns around and tries to blame the economy on Obama?...it\'s no wonder that even republicans are scratching their heads whenever McCain opens his mouth...i\'m not panicking at all..i\'m laughing at MCain & Palin....

McCain is going to try smear tactics since he has nothing else to run on, and Palin will self-destruct on her own with the stupidity she displays everytime she opens her mouth.

WTF?  Babble much?  I picture you frothing at the mouth while typing that incoherent rant.

I believe it is your VP nominee who has the gift of stupidity every time he opens his mouth.

Stop rehashing Obama campaign talking points and interject some free thought every now and then.  It might help your case.

The fact is Obama has shady ties to a whole list of American rejects.  Bill Ayers, Wright, Rezko... it goes on and on.  These are not casual relationships either.

McCain went back to Washington to confer with his Republican peers in the House and Senate - it is his job as a Senator you know?  Something Obama doesn\'t understand since he is never there and has never accomplished anything since being elected.  McCain accomplished what he set out to do.  Since you are quoting McCain - provide links.  As far as the bail out bill - I disagree with him on it.  I think he should have voted against it.

man you sure have a temper and attitude there.  Calm down dude.  You usually insulted anyone who doesn\'t agree with you in this forums.  Maybe if you try to talk without calling people names, and the such.  they will respect you more.
