Before we get off track..the point in all of this was McCain criticizing obama\'s experience...Obama hasn\'t really been in the senate long enough to build up his resume like McCain, but while campaigning he has come up with a plan for america and he has a vp with experience to back him up....McCain hired a vp with 0 experience.....after all of his talk of the vp being a very critical decision for the next prez....he takes the low road for the sake of getting hillary\'s women voters...but his logo is country first right?....:rolleyes:...no way he was thinking country first when he picked her....even conservatives in your own party are scratching their heads at McCains decision.

Obama may not have alot of experience, but right now his judgement is looking alot better than McCains....he could have easily picked hillary and wiped the floor with the republicans, but he didn\'t,..he went with somebody that could truly compliment him.....and somebody with experience that can take over...should anything happen to Obama.....you seriously think palin can step in and lead if something happens to McCain?.....nope...

LOL at the surge....so what he voted against it...he was against the war from the jump...that is what truly matters....and it seems his judgement was better than bush\'s in that aspect...we would\'ve saved some money and american lives if we would not have engaged iraq.

Sorry but you cannot spin his choice for picking biden,...you are so transparent, you are only saying that because McCain picked palin...if obama picked somebody with very little experience the conservatives would have been all over that.....Hmm so i guess McCain is going to be lookin\' to this chic for advice on issues?...riiight....:rolleyes:...that\'s like Peyton manning or brett farve asking a rookie for advice on quarterbacking...and McCain did vote with bush 90% of the time,...now since bush is goin\' down as one of the presidents with the worst approval rating ever,..McCain wants to seperate himself from it....

It\'s a shame too,..pres. bush gave a satellite speech praising McCain, when he clearly could have been there at the convention,..it\'s really sad when the republican party wants nothing to do with their own prez....i guess if bush was there he would have had to shake hands with McCain and they were seriously sh*tin\' bricks about that......

And picking a candidate just to get women votes is lame...admit it...you know that there are waaay more qualified personnel than this chickenhead you conservatives are jerkin\' off over at the convention...hmmm do you pick somebody that can truly take over if you croak or do you pick somebody, that MIGHT help you get women voters?....i go with the former,...it was an idiotic decision for McCain to pick her, and seriously questions his judgement.

It just tears you up that the GOP is excited about this candidate doesn\'t it?  Bush had to hurricane to manage - if it had been bad and he had gone to the convention you would have been crying about that.

As for your 90 percent of the time claim - WRONG.  You left out the little fact that Nobama\'s claim was for the year 2007.  

However, McCain\'s support of President Bush\'s position has been as low as 77 percent (in 2005), and his support for his party\'s position has been as low as 67 percent (2001).

So to sum up, McCain has indeed voted to support the unpopular Bush 95 percent of the time most recently, but less so in earlier years. And Obama has voted pretty close to 100 percent in line with fellow Democrats during his brief Senate career.

You are missing the entire point.  By being tough we get them before they get us.  We prevent other attacks by being the first to know and first to react.  Not the first to pacify and appease.

You are missing the entire point.  By being tough we get them before they get us.  We prevent other attacks by being the first to know and first to react.
