Who here thinks that the Gamecube controller LOOKS whacked????

I was just wondering because i thought it looked real funky

It looks really weird. But the cube.ign.com people said that its very comfortable.... But I can tell right now, this thing isn\'t going to work with fighters, 2D or 3D. The Gamecube is going to have a lot of 3D platformers... You can tell by the way the controller is made. The camera buttons, 3D sticks, etc etc...

  What camera buttons??? Oh you mean the Camera Stick.  I think it is a bunch of bullcrap for people to say it is bad for fighters, when the SEGA Genesis controller only had 3 face buttons, but no one complained about it not being good for fighters.  Heck, the GBA has 4 face buttons (which is more than the Genesis), and people still haven\'t complained about the Genesis controller being weak for fighters.

The Dreamcast controller has the same layout with the d-pad and analog stick and it has plenty of good fighters such as Soul Caliber, DOA, Street Fighter etc...

It does look odd, but I believe it will be comfortable when in use. Looks like an extended Dual Shock.

And Hawk, the standard DC pad is horrible w/Street Fighter...

That controller was sweet. I had a few of \'em. It was impossible to play Street Fighter 2 on the Genesis with a 3 button controller. But, the 6 button kicked total ass. I always perfered the Genesis controller over the SNES. SNes felt too "small" for me. SO, I bought one of those grip things that added depth to the size and made it easier to hold. That thing was sweet too, cept it was bright purple...Err..I\'m rambling

Oh yeah, the controller looks funky. But all Nintendo controllers look funky at first. Anyone remember the Virtual Boy controller? Now...That was screwed up looking.

man, i remember playing "super street fighter : chamionship edition" for DAYS on that 6 button controller.  even when Mortal Kombat 2 came out, the 6 button ROCKED!  GO SEGA!

Don\'t dis gamecube. I am going to get one. This is what I noticed during my time in this forum. I noticed that there is no prejudice for other consoles in this forum except the Xbox. All, or most of you, Respect the Gamecube, Ps2 and Dreamcast like me. I am going to get all 3 of those systems except Xbox. Just because I don\'t like Microsoft for OTHER reasons than Xbox, Xbox fanboys call me a Ps2 fanboy. That is ignorant. It\'s like they don\'t realize that Microsoft it not a Video Game company.

I\'m not really dissing the gamecube I\'m getting one too ya know, gosh so touchy.

ill be shocked if i get a ncube.  the big "N" ripped me off with the N64.  only a fool once.  ill give the xbox a shot, any console that squaresoft supports, so do i.

Yeah the controller has serious weirdness problems indeed.  It looks weird,but I know it will feel great cuz Nintendo said so and they always seem to have a great controller.

About the Sega 6 button controller-it sucked!The three button controller was pittyfull enough,but the later version of it was just as uncomfortable in my opinion.
