Actually it does have a huge cult following. I mean, how often do petitions for a sequel really have an effect on any company? Let alone a petition for an extreemley expencive adventure game. It was the fans who made QFG5 possible with their huge petitions and constant barrages of Email & Snail mail to Sierra\'s customer support. Then again, there are a ton more fans who, like me, didn\'t even know about the petitions and couldn\'t join in. We\'re out there.. but the net is HUGE and you\'ll probably end up surfing right past them without knowing. Hell, look at the few casual fans that posted at the begining of this thread. Not to mention all the people over at QFG5.com, FACSRessurection, The Door, the Projects, and any one of the 80 or so (last time I checked) QFG oriented sites listed in the FACS section of QFG5.com.
Yeah, I\'d say a remake of QFG2 is about due.. I\'d buy it, but I can see myself playing the original more than the remake. Same way with QFG1Remake.. It\'s great and all.. but I still like Hero\'s Quest better. The only thing I\'d ask of a remake is for it to be absolutely TRUE to the original and that they have an option which allows for the entire game to be played through the text parser as well as "Point & Click".
