You see the black "box" at the back of the HDD?

Its the enthernet card/adaptor.

You plug the card in at the back of the HDD so it dosent take up as much space :)

I think it looks kewl!

The LCD monitor is also cool.. Does anyone know how much it will cost.

Novemeber 2001, eh? Well, I\'ll be damned. There is no way possible Sony is getting any money from me for an add-on , when two new consoles will be launching in the same month.

40 gigs. I imagine it will cost around $100-$150. Either way, it can be $50 dollars and I still won\'t buy it when its released. That $50 can go towards an Xbox or GameCube game.

I\'d heard that it is supposed to cost nearly £200 in the uk, thats about $250 - 300 for all the folk in the US. Still tho, no need for it over here as basically no one has broadband access, think i might be using my money on mgs2, the getaway, Bond and the rest...

Internet Adaptor should be around the 35 to 40 Pound region in the UK

Also i think the HDD won\'t be that expensive , i think they are wiating to see Microsofts and nintendos Final Console price before they anounce the Price of the HDD.

I think the fact that we got such a great responce on the Forum Clan name , just shows the intrest out there for ONLINE PS2 gaming......

Amen, with so many brilliant games and consoles in the comming months I\'m not going to splash the cash for a HD unless there\'s a true killer app for it, and since Championship Manager 4 will probably never come out in North America I\'ll put the cash towards a GC or an X-Box instead.

I bet sony lowers there price of PS2 and then releases a package where the ps2 costs the same as the other systems with the HD and ethernet/56k in the box. All right when GC and Xbox are released. Hey, maybe they\'ll throw in Twisted Metal online in the package or something, that would be awesome.
