i meant no disrespect bro, but please, i beg you...watch a few of the films i listed, and perhaps you\'ll see what i\'m pleading.  you might realize that hollywood has been in a steady decline for the past 20 years.  you\'ll recognize these fast food movies that they puke on us.  you might be inclined to visit an independant theatre and watch a foreign film that doesnt include shooting people, or high speed car chases, or big explosions

that\'s totally besides the point

perhaps if I watched them, I would agree with you, that they are good movies, but it still doesn\'t change the fact that it would be our opinion, thus it not being fact.

IMO we don\'t even have a real discussion here, it\'s just that we interpretate differently. You speak in a \'negative freedom\' point of view, while I speak in \'positive freedom\'

Huh?Perhaps you didnt get the plot.Me and many of my friends didnt like it just by special effects.

No it wasnt the setting either. It wasnt the basic idea of humans being ruled by machines in the future and living in a fake reality.

Soulgrind = Lover of the Over Rated Movie !

Atleast Spiderman is one of the best superhero movies.Thats why it was such a success.
Now as a movie compared with any other movie.....its not that great.

something tells me batman didnt have a 100 million dollar advertising budget behind it

Yeah, Jack Nicholson plays the Joker in the first one. The first Batman movie is actually quite good. The others are terrible though.

how can someone say if a fast food joint is good or not, if they don\'t have a valid comparison?

so therefore, a person CANNOT say the matrix or macdonalds is good cinema or good fast food, if they don\'t have a valid comparisons.  how are these comparisons achieved? ahhhh yes......

You were assuming we hadn\'t seen any of the great classics, Tron, Bladerunn, 7 Samurai.... Assumptions can often be deadly....

actually echo, it does.  like i said, noone else is suggesting films, and still noone has.

Suggest films? Why? Why would that make my argument more valid?
Ah, whatever, I\'ll go along with it:

Noi the Albino (Nói albíonói)
Angels of the Universe (Englar alheimsins)
The Sea (Hafið)
