Meanwhile, Republicans in Florida seem to love a guy with TOO MUCH experience.

By that I mean McCain, who as one foot in the grave.

Well considering the choices... :piss: Romney?  Huckabee?

A lot of Republicans do not like McCain at all.  I guess some conservatives don\'t understand that if a Republican has a chance to win the Whitehouse it needs to be a moderate one.  Giuliani pretty much blew any chance he had with his strategy of focusing on Florida.

I really didn\'t know what these delegates or superdelegates are, but now that i have a better understanding of it, i think it\'s all bulls**t...how can these people in power practically undo what the people of the state voted for? So it really doesn\'t matter who we vote for, these delegates have the power to give their vote to the candidate that "they" seem fit and it will be their vote that matters,...our vote at most might sway them to vote for the person that has the most votes....

the problem with that is the unbalance of populations in states. It totally makes sense, that most votes should just mean theyre the winner. But all the people in california and texas would completely shut out anything that the smaller states want to say.

Our electoral college is frusterating but..going by the # of votes alone wouldnt be as fair as it sounds

Then in that case why give us the right to vote at all? A mirage maybe? The illusion of having the control of our country when we really don\'t?

I\'m rooting for Obama. I hate Hillary and do not want her to win. It was very surprising to see McCain come up as a front runner on the Republican side but then again the other candidates where not very eligible. I wanted Hillary to win just so my vote would be easier and I could vote McCain but if Obama wins it is going to be a tough decision on who I should support with a bumper sticker.

maybe because they didnt have the media around to tell people about the candidates...which is basically the same as now.

I would need a cigar and maybe some Crown on the rocks for that revelation.

I wonder what would happen if the general public was aware enough to realize that all this really doesn\'t count?

Anyways, I was reading through some of my old posts and I can\'t believe how ridiculous I sound.

Haha. Maybe. With time comes knowledge and maturity. Who knows what kind of crazy crap we\'ll find out in the coming years?

So what you\'re saying is you have no interest in the policies or positions of the candidates.  You simply hate Hillary Clinton and you\'re planning to cast your ballot solely on the basis of personality.

I have no problem with someone hating Hillary; in fact I can somewhat understand that.  But to acknowledge that you have no beliefs of your own, and you would vote simply to vote against her is completely idiotic.
