Nope, none of the Paladin\'s extra abilities were built into the second game so there\'s nothing special with becoming a paladin except for a small speach by Rakeesh in the end scenes. The only real incentive to become one in QFG2 is that it helps you immencely in QFG3 since you start out as one after importing your character and bypass having to "earn" it. If you really know what you\'re doing, you might be able to pull off a Fighter/Mage/Theif character that can still become a paladin at the end.. but you\'d have to be a Fighter first and foremost since you NEED to complete some certain fighter only scenarios in a specific manner.
Good luck getting the LSL collection. Last I heard it was sold out until Sierra could free up enough CDBurners to start production again. It\'s well worth the cash if you can find it though. I\'ve got all seven (or should I say Six, since there never was a fourth game), so if you need some help with those too, let me know.
BTW: Do you have Napster? If so, put me on your Hotlist so we can chat without having mess with cluttering up the forums. My username should be {8up}.
P.S. I didn\'t want to start a new post, but I just found out some LSL news. I was browsing the forums at Al Lowe\'s Humor site and saw that one of the guys who runs a LSL Fan page. He said he read a N64 magazine that had an artical about how Sierra may make a LSL game for the GameBoy Advance. If that\'s true, then I may just have to buy a GBA... provided Nintnedo dosen\'t censor the crap outta the game first. Personally, I\'d rather see it on a machine with GBA\'s capabilities, than be bastardised by a poor 3D engine and half-assed motivated programmers. There\'s even a chance that Sierra won\'t ask Al back to direct another LSL game and just make it on their own.
It\'s all just rumor and speculation, but a guy can hope can\'t he.
