last post for me in this thread, u say that potassium-argon testing not being acurate if a world wide flood had happened.  what differense would it make?  water does not cause pottasium or argon to disipate at a more rapid rate, nor at a slower rate.  it works the same way as carbon 14, u do know how carbon 14 works, right?  there are no assumptions that everything started the same, it figures much like carbon 14, through the half life of the chemical.

not quite. the carbon 14 dating method assumes (again) that the isotope degenerate at a constant rate over all time. now if the proportion of carbon 14 to normal carbon is different in the past, then the degeneration/escape rate would be different. same thing with argon.

I believe that dinos were no more dangerous as were any other animal still alive today. I mean, just because scientists think they were man eaters doesnt make it true. Just because they have massive teeth, it doesnt mean they used them for meat (but the certainly may have). Lotsa animals have limbs/features that dont apply directly to lifestyle.

I also dont know enough about all this to coment on alot of it, but I have read alot of interesting things.

Also, if humans evolved from monkeys etc, then why arent animals these days still evolving? There is NO chemical proof to suggest that an animal can morph or evolve over time into something else.

what are you kidding me??  first of all, dinosaurs were NOT man eaters, as man didnt exist at the same time as dinosaurs...this has been proven.  Second of all, the REASON some dinosaurs had sharp teeth was SO they could eat meat.. all animals in the world have different types of teeth (and other features) depending on what their main food source is.. Humans have a combination as we are omnivorous... carnivorous animals (IE. Dinosaurs) have sharp teeth.  Third of all, not all dinosaurs had sharp teeth, many were vegesaurs  :D  herbivores, and that was because they ate folliage, there is reason to everything. now, making a seg-way into your second point... once these features become useless after several generations evolution takes place and these features are changed.  Evolution IS still happening today.. even as we speak.  Humans are different from what we were hundreds/thousands of years ago.  Taller, smaller brains/skulls, various resistances to diseases etc. etc.  these changes are small (and may be brought on partly by ourselves) but they are the beginnings of evolution... if you think humans will be as they are today, 3000 years from now... then...hmm... lets party :D

Earth, 4.5 billion years ago?? WTF are you talking about??? Racer has documented proof that the earth has only been around for 6500 years. Apparently the document was created by Racer himself though since about every other sceintific document has the earth as at least 7000 years old.

hahaha  :D  good one

Video, dont be stupid. I said it was an ESTIMATE. Gosh, your the one being super anal now. I didnt create the document, as you know. I have read numorous reports stating that the earth is probably only 6-8 thousand years old.

You find a way to continually hate on me. I think its wrong.

it was just a joke, YOU need to stop being so stupid and grow a sense of humour. I mean, your going to hell anyway (bible forbids homosexual orgies in Gym class) so you might as well have fun with the rest of your life... before suffering an eternity in a state of mind without god (hell)...

Hehehe, I did NOT have a homosexual orgy in gym class.

My female teacher was watching, so technically it was hetrosexual :D

As to do with the water issue, like I said, for that amount of water to be produced to cover all the continents, you would need an act of God. So, an act of God could remove all the water too.

Only Noah was saved because Noah was the only one that believed it would rain (it had NEVER rained before the flood).

This is in Genesis.

Anyways.

Ah, so your "Female" teacher was in your locker room watching a bunch of school aged boys in the shower.

alrighty then.

Sounds about as probably as the world only being 6500 years old.   Hell, I have underwear that old.

yes, we are being punished, because we have sinned. and because God is just, he cannot leave sin unpunished, and the punishment of sin is death (death as in eternal separation from God). He also know that we cannot bare the punishment, so He provided us with a way (Jesus) to be saved. But because of our free will, He cannot force us to be saved.

as said in the bible, noah\'s family was the ONLY ONE that pleased God, the only family that still lived according to His ways, and that everyone else has turned evil...

we\'d probably don\'t like with what God decided to do, but who are we to question the Creator? are we in a place to set the rules for Him to work with?

ok all i want to know is what gives him the right to create people - no one should be given the power of god - not even himself - how can i get my say - i was created with feelings by him so why cant i have feelings on whether i want to live at all - and then if i were to decide i didnt want to live what can i do about it - sure i could kill myself and be punished an enternity in hell - but that isnt much of a choice is it

you know what else that sounds like - sounds like slavery to me - do what i say or ill break your ankle kind of deal - you live here because im your master and i put you there

yeap defintely sounds like slavery - i think ill pass - no one owns me but me

Wait.. Let me get this straight..

How long ago did this flooding happen?
And were all people killed except the captain and his crew (3 men 4 women if the Hallmark movies are anything to go by?)

All of them were Jews right?

How come the "races" could evolve out of just 4 couples? (well.. 3 couples cuz Noah was a old guy.. Or did they have viagra?) In such a short time?

the mathematical prove is at home, but i\'m at work... so i can\'t get to it. i\'ll post it in a new thread when i get home. but the thread\'s might be a few pages long.... so as long as you promise that you won\'t delete it.... might take a few days as well, cos i want to work on that bin laden picture thing...

basically, one of the scientific evidence that evolution doesn\'t apply at the macroscopic level is the law of thermodynamics. that when energy is converted from one form to another, some of that energy doesn\'t get converted and becomes useless. which opposes the idea of galixies forming from a simple explosion.

the mathematical evidence works on the human evolution level. that if one mutation happens every second, and then by calculating the number of theoretical positive mutations would take from a single cell organism to human, it\'d take a lot more than 100 billiion years.

and then there\'s the minimum operation number theory, which effectivly rules out the evolution of separate parts over time. a mouse trap requires some 11 components to work properly, and if one of the components are missing, then the trap would cease to function. now apply the same principle to the human body, the eco system, universe...etc which are a lot more complicated than a mouse trap.

as for the school thing, that\'s because:

- the contents are out of date
- evolution is badly mistaken as scientific, and creation is not.
- schools are mostly not allowed to teach about religion.

eh, i give up, i can\'t keep up with the threads... at least i doubled my no. of posts in this thread. but anyone who is interested in the topic can message or email me :)

Races didnt become until the Tower of Baybal.

Its all IN THE BIBLE. If you pick it up, sit down for acouple of hours and read it, then your questions will be answered.

There was Noah, his wife and his 8 children or something, along with their husbands and wifes.

Racer, you of all people should believe in Evolution and the constant evolving of humans... i mean...when you look at mariah carey and get turned on, you dont even have to try, you\'ve pleasured yourself over her enough times already it must be permanently attached...

you can be the new X-Man - Orgasmo, one arm free to fight evil, the other permanantl attached to your penis for easy access tension relief and blinding of oncoming enemies - never has a facial been so deadly

I am thoroughly confused by all of this.  It seems like no one who speaks of the bible makes any sense what so ever.  It\'s a book of stories from people who more than likely imagined a lot of really cool stuff as they smoked weed.
