Yes, any game using the XBL servers are under that fee.  Sega\'s PSO is not on XBL servers and thus doesn\'t count.  That\'s a Sega decision, not MS.

OMFG, I was reading this thread and I just had to post.  Although I read 100x more than I post, i feel this is deserved.  X-Box Live is the most retarded thing I\'ve heard of, "one fee for all".  Watchdog, you must be some sort of M$ agent.  Billy was right, your acting like a 5 year old, grow up.  As far as X-Box live, why pay and pay again?  BB only, less lag?  That\'s what you think.  I think it\'s a bunch of garbage.

Haha.. I too read this.. And I do have to agree with you.

Lots of people wanna SAVE money not blow it away... Really your like saying "I have crap loads of money and I\'m cool cause I spend more then you all.. But it\'s worth every penny." Money well spent.. When others see it as a total rip-off.

Sure Xbox will get more stuff with the downloadables.. But how much money are you spending to get something so small?

Sorry I just find it retarded for M$ to exclude people who can\'t get BB.:mad:

I don\'t quite understand this.  There will be less lag.  There will be dedicated servers.  There will be downloadable content.  There will be online rankings, tournaments, stat tracking etc. etc.   If MS delivers all this, then it\'s worth it.

I don\'t have lots of money--it doesn\'t take much to play video games, and certainly there are more expensive hobbies.  If you feel that the extra $10 a month is going to change your quality of life, then be my guest, damn XBL to hell.  

But when Sony starts charging, and they will, I\'m going to remind all you about the most "retarded " thing you\'ve ever heard of and watch all of you eat it up like the Sony lap dogs you are.

I still don\'t understand how spending a couple hundred dollars on hardware required to get your PS2 online is different.  I don\'t understand why you think that\'s okay, when the xbox came equipped with all that, for essencially nothing.

Fast forward to a year or two when there are several million people playing on Sony\'s service.  How long before Sony executives do the math and start charging?  There was an interview where an exec was asked about pricing, he dodged the question and stated something like they wouldn\'t charge initially or something like that.  Sounds dubious to me.  

But in the mean time enjoy your dial up gaming, and that extra 33 cents a day. :rolleyes:

its only $40 required to get your PS2 online :)

HDD is a doomed failure for FFXI and possibly one or two other doomed games.

And youre not allowed to rub it into me Watchdog!  Im looking forward to it!  I\'ll have Cable so im not complaining.

I find xbox live a lot better than what PS2 has played for online.  Watchdog has basically fought my arguement.  Not that any of you are listening though.

the PS2 online community will have sheer numbers above and beyond what xbox could possess

non mmorpg online gaming should be free
its been free on the pc for many years
why should m$ try and change this?

so, have fun paying all that money (hope you have a router too, if not, thats another 60$), im gonna be playing for completely free
