No that wouldnt be it.  This is just an aspect to the movie. The movie is about the Matrix hence the title. That was the novelty. Like i said earlier this of course could have had many ideas behind it, borrowed or stolen, based on what side you take. This concept of novelty isnt even all there is too it and i hold no side.
