The lyrics are overly simple. They could be mistaken for any other nu-metal band that caters towards the teen audience. There is no distinct style with Jon\'s lyrics other than the "I\'m so miserable" story and to further the point, let me dig a quote up..

Now what does that say? That says that KoRn does not want to be taken as a serious metal band. They are happy and content catering towards the teen demographic. The one\'s who "parents will hate it".

Edgar Allen Poe wrote "I\'m so miserable" type poems, too. Did he cator to teens?

I am stating the fact that KoRn is a talented band. Much better than most of the nu-metal shit flowing through the MTV drainage pipe. LIC you can give it to them that Jons voice is good, and the musicians are talented. I give them that. But it helps I like it, and I can relate to it.

No, they\'re not. Every song sounds the same. There is no real content in the music. The lyrics could of been written by a 13 year old.

Let\'s see here, plenty of people can play instruments, doesn\'t make them talented. I can play the piano, doens\'t make me talented.

Jon Davis cannot sing. He can mumble, whine and scream. That is not singing. There is no vocal talent in that. Want singing? Check out Opeth, Tori Amos, Martin Gore,  David Usher and a bunch of others. Hell, if you are speaking vocal talent, check out Michael Bolton.

You know why they can please "loyal fans" and "sell millions of records" because there are a lot of idiots. There a lot of young angry teens who feel oh-so-mistreated. They cater to idiots and idiots like them.

However, nowhere in all that is talent.

Korn is for teens like Tori Amos and Micheal Bolton are for 40 year old ladies.

See LIC I can make generalisations to.I still listen to the self titled cd,I still like it and I\'m not a teen at all.I\'m not saying that the singing is great or the words are brilliant,however you can not release a cd like the self titled one without talent.
