Well whatever the case, I\'ll end up making a league and asking the forum members here with the PS2 version if they wanna join first.  That way at least some of us can get together and play if we want too.

Lord knows that if the Admins are sticking with it , it would have to be a superior game, right?

Madden is over-rated and always has been. Since VC came into play with the DC they have been one-uppin\' EA , but blind Madden fans will never notice this.

Agreed.  Oh, and not to burst your bubble, but I\'m an admin and I think ESPN is better and no one listens to me. :)

But im also not retarded and didnt mean that just because the all-knowing great admins are staying with madden that its a better game, but what i was saying was the people that are leading the league arent changing and neither are 99% of the people in the league. Even if theyre getting espn, theyre still getting madden. I think..unless the people who dont post are switching.

anyway..anyone get it today? best buy said they were either getting more tonight or tomorrow.

I play Madden quite abit durin\' the actual "foosball" season and I am sure I will play this year\'s version sometime or another, but personally, I loved VC\'s NFL2K series and I figure, if they are doin\' something better than that series and only charging $20 bucks, I can\'t pass it up.  I am amazed that so many people can pass up this game simply because it does not have the Madden brand name on it.

Just got home with the game, pretty excited.

This is the first time I\'ve evcer even TRIED a football game othor than Madden.

I was loving it when Steve-O and Carmen Electra called me up at my "Crib" to challenge me to a game.

BTW, The Gameplanning in this game is the best I have seen in any football game. Looking at the in-depth scouting report and having your player(s) train during the week to specifically target the report, then having it work in the game is great.

Yeah, so far I\'m taking my Lions through a franchise and we are going into week 2 of preseason.  My first weekly prep results weren\'t so hot as I was afraid to over work my players but after a 7 sack game by the packers, I wind sprinted my oline to death and worked my entire crew twice as hard.  I had a 6 pt jump for matt joyce and 4 for dre bly.  As soon as I get the hang of this I should be alright.

So how is it? I\'ve heard the game play is still lacking, but presentation and everything else is awesome, I might get it for the Xbox just to play my friends online.

yea. maybe i went into the game with too much expectation with all this hype its getting but i was kind of disappointed. Still a good game but the gameplay lacks compared to madden. The running animation is weird. Vick runs like a girl and i dont know if im doing something wrong but i cant smoothly turn when im running. I have to stop for a split second then turn up field which is kind of stupid. The passing game is pretty good but its kind of slow when the receiver catches it. And of course the presentation and graphics kick ass so its definitly worth 20 bucks.

BUT, if madden and espn were both 50 bucks id get madden in a heartbeat. Dont get why people try to say madden is a bad game compared to the godly espn. The gameplay just isnt up to par with madden.
