I think I know the disk you\'re talking about. I got a similar one a few years back. It had demos of Bass Fishing, A10 II: Silent Thunder, Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within, and a few others on it. I don\'t remember any FPS\'s though. I\'ve got InterAction Magazines dating from 91-92 through 96-97 and none of them have mentioned a game like you\'re talking about. I\'ll check around to see if there\'s a Sierra Gamography on the net. Chances are though, that it was never released.

Yeah.
They were pretty cool.
And you got them for free which was cool.
I think it was called "Outlaw", but I could be wrong.
The A10 is my favorite plane.
I always wanted an A10 game.
I thought they would be cool.

You oughtta play the A10 games if you get the chance. They\'re an excellent series chock full of action and, surpisingly, information/history about the plane which is not necessary for the game but gives good reading material. These games are what inspired my "If you could fly any military aircraft profesionally, which would you choose?" thread. I\'ve loved them ever since playing the first game (I have both), and it\'s expecially cool now since the local airfield has them do test runs over my house. Heh, I don\'t know where they got the name "Silent Thunder", they\'re actually pretty loud.. if not dephening at times.

They got that name, because, apparently, when they are diving you cant hear them till they are past you, and by that time, your tank has already been pelted by the 20 foot cannon.
I love that plane.
The army has been trying to get it transferred as an Army aircraft.

I don\'t think that\'s quite true, they pass over my house all the time and you can definately hear them comming from a distance. The only way they\'d be silent until after they pass is if they traveled at speeds faster than sound... which they don\'t. Expecially since they have to slow way down when over a target area.

It would make sence though, that the Army is trying to get the A10 under their jurisdiction since it\'s basically just a ground support aircraft. Anymore F16\'s and Tomcats are being used almost exclusively for ground strike missions and thanks to smart bombs, target specific strikes are becoming more of a "fire at a distance and forget" matter.

Are you still around or are you too busy playing Dragonfire? Remember to download the patch, you won\'t be able to enter the Dragon\'sBlood pool more than once if you don\'t have it installed.

Hey,
I got it in the mail today,
so Ive been playing that for a while.
Im now on the 3rd rite.
Erasmus is sick and I cant get into his house to check on him.
Is it possible too?
What do I use the password on science Island for?
So far its been pretty fun, and I dont mind the fight system as much as I thought I was going to.
There are way less fights in this than in part 3.
Also, how do I get to the dryad woods and the Hydra cave?
Thanks
Yeah,
I havent been on today much, been at work and playing this.

Glad ya like it so far. To me it dosen\'t have quite the same fell as the previous games.. but it\'s a great sequel non-the-less.

1. You can go back to Erasmus\'s house only once after he\'s sick. I\'m not sure if it\'s day specific, but if you kick the platform it should take you to see Fenrus. There\'s an optional Item up there you may want to take.

2. The password is used to access new areas of the lab later on in the game. You\'ll have to enter them at the control panel Gort stands in front of. If I said anymore, I\'d be giving away a spoiler.

3. Hydra island and the Dryads island kinda stumped me at first too. Think of it this way.. you can\'t walk there, and you can\'t take a boat there.. so there\'s really only one option left. Fly. You\'ll find a clue on how to get to Hydra island in QFG2 in Keapon Laffin\'s shop. You\'ll need another flying device to get to the Dryads though. Talk to Wolfie in the bazzar, he may have something that can help give you some ideas.

Your right.
It doesnt have the same feel, but it is a god spoiler.
Thoug it seems rushed.
A lot of the stuff that should be in the game isnt.
For example, Punny Bones from part 4.
He said he would be in silmaria, but so far I havent seen him.

Someone said that Im supposed to get something from Julanar when he becomes sick but she never gave me anything.
Ive gone there quite a few times and kicked it but nothin has happened.

Ok.
Is gort that guy whos on the second floor and when you go to touch him that scientist tells you to leave the scientific stuff alone.

Yeah.
I bought that painting.
I was thinking og giving it to the scientist, but I wasnt sure, I also tried to get the wings but he wouldnt let me.
I think Ill buy some Pegeasus feathers while Im at it.
Flying, Pegeasus?
Good combination, I think so.

Well back to gaming.
Ill be back to check in a little bit though.

Well before you can do anything with the wings, you have to prove yourself to the scientists. Try giving them something they like, something that has to do with one of the five elements mentioned in the QFG games. Once you\'ve done that for both scientists, you should have no problem doing almost anything you want to do in the labs.

The patch should fix most of the bugs, but the missing stuff you\'ll just have to live without. Sierra did rush the game because it was costing them so much to produce and they wanted a return on their investment by the end of the 98 fiscal year for their stockholders to look over. As a result there\'s a ton of missing dialouge, puzzles, scenarios, and of course the multiplayer function. Lori said that she had wanted to correct this by releasing "mission packs" for the player to buy later on that would extend the life of the game and tie up some more of the loose ends. All that changed when Sierra shut down Yosemite though.

For being that overbudget and rushed, you gotta give them props for making the game the best it could be though. Most games end up being total crap when their rushed.

Damnit,
I cant figure out what to do.
Do I give them water and earth or something,
or do I need to make a pizza?
I have yet to get any ingrediants.
Yeah, also I remember hearing that you were supposed to be able to resurrect either Erana or that vampire(cant remember her name), to marry, but in an earlier post, you said you could only marry Nawar(or was that over at Sierra Forums?), did that get removed too, or is that just later in the game?

Oh yeah.
Spoil me this time.
How do I get the Wings?

First, buy both a pepperoni and an avacado pizza from the katta merchance just outside of the magic shop. These are what you give to the scientists, but you have to find the right toppings first. If you talk to them enough, you find out that one of them likes Anchovies and the other likes Jalepenios. You can get the Jalipinios for the pepperoni pizza at Salim\'s apothacary, they\'re just hangin on the wall so go ahead and take a few. To get the Anchonvies you have to talk to Andre the fisherman sometime in the morning. Ask him about all the topics that relate to fish, and he should give you some anchovies to sample. Put those on the artichoke pizza.

Once you give the scientists their pizzas, they\'ll let you explore the lab and mess with some of the equiptment. Now you\'re going to need some feathers for the wings, and some beeswax to hold them to the frame. The beeswax can be found at one of the lower dragon pillars on the map. Just click the beeswax on the fame, then click the feathes on it, and you\'re done. Just remember to bring along an extra amphora because there\'s an item there you need for the next rite and it\'s always a pain in the ass to have to waste a day going back and get it.

As far as marrage goes, there\'s four women you have to chance to make your bride. There\'s Elsa, Nawar, Katrina, or Erana. They were idealy intended for specific classes. I.E. Elsa for Fighters, Katrina for Mages, Erana for Paladins, and Nawar for Theives. Now I\'m pretty sure Elsa and Nawar will marry anyone, but Erana will not marry a theif and Katrina will not marry theives or Paladins.

You also have to be faithful to the woman you want to marry. Nawar and Elsa are somewhat lienient, but Erana and expecially Katrina won\'t tolerate it when you fool around on them or won\'t come to visit often.

Of course you could always decide to stay single. That\'s what I\'m going to do with my latest character. I\'ll just leave it at him going back to Shapeir to be with Dinarzad. Damn.. she would have been a much better choice for the Thieves wife than Nawar is. Hell, Nawar only had about 5 or 6 lines in QFG2.. it\'s not like she had any ties to the hero or helped him out or anything.

OHHH!
Now I remember Nawar.
Is she that chick from the Harem and you helped her mistress escape.
Dinarzad would be a lot better for thieves.
Am I supposed to have seen Erana or Katrina yet?
Thanks,Sonyfan.
Once again, your the man.

Naw, that was Mayzun you\'re thinking about. If you\'re a theif you\'ll have to sneak into the Harems of the palace, Mayzun will help hide you. Nawar is the girl closest to the screen. She\'s in blue I think, and she keeps makeing sexually oriented comments. Her and Budar are both in there.

You won\'t meet Katrina or Erana until the fourth or fifth Rite when you have to travel to Hades. I think it\'s the fifth rite since you have to make the ballon to get to the dryad island right after you make the wings.

Oh.
Ok now I remember her.
I think Im going to have to play through each game now and go through completely as a certain character, so I can get the full fun level outta the games.

Ok, I was hoping they hadnt taken out the resurrection of Erana or Katrina, that would just suck.

P.S. Is Punny Bones anywhere in the game?
