Anyone else getting occassional audio stuttering?  Seems to be a major problem over at the Steam forums.  Also saw a couple of threads at rage3d and nvnews.

The game is playable, but it quite irritating.

Happens to me too Giga, mostly when you first meet up with that chick and she takes you to the secret lab.  It seems to have stopped though.

Mine is really bad on the water levels - I am on the boat right now and it does it if I make a hard turn or right after loading.

the water looks amazing! I knew this game would pwn Doom3. But I think Doom 3 is still a totally sick game!

mmm engine-wise the lighting effects seem noticeably better in Doom 3, and just some other little things that brought out the detail may have purists argue Carmack\'s engine is more realistic.

The tradeoff of course is it takes a helluva computer to run it.  People with last generation cards are running HL2 without a hitch.

Also havin the audio problem. Lowered the graphics settings and thought it helped, but  I got to the water level and it all happened again.

I reduced it on MS paint so that i hould host it.

It runs mighty fine on my putter :D...

it just talks a while to load up and in between loading sctions...but other than that its slicker than a lapdancers private parts. (i take it that more memory will quicken the loading times)

and sammy...the picture measures 3.5 inces across...just like my penis then :D.

I defragged and that helped quite a bit, but didn\'t solve it.  Apparently the install fragments the drive its installed on quite a bit.  

Valve hasn\'t even acknowledged there is a problem, yet.  It seems to effecting everyone from what I have read no matter what kind of video card, sound card, processor etc.

Ravenhold is the shit! I just now got there, having to split time with CoH . Too bad I have to go to work tommorw. Means no HL2 for a few days.:(

On another Source note - looks like Vampire is getting hammered for bad combat,etc.

Just got beyond that now.

have to say the only problems i have faced is the loading times.

no problems with sound or my GFX card...which is a Grforce 5200 and still runs without any problems :eek:

going to upgrade after Xmas to an ATI to get full advantage of everything.
